» We can be reached by rail. Torquay station is served by First Great Western. There are direct daily services from London Paddington as well as services from other parts of the country that require a change at Newton Abbot.

» Follow the M5 Southbound.

» From Exeter take the A38 to Torquay.

» The A380 eventually leads directly into Newton Abbot, where you will arrive at the Penn Inn Roundabout.

» Stay in the left lane and follow the signs for Torquay.

» You will travel through Kingskerswell, remain on this road until you reach the roundabout.

» Go straight ahead, you will travel along a Dual Carriageway called Riviera Way.

» Follow signs for the seafront.

» On reaching the seafront turn left, leaving the sea on your right hand side.

» Pass the Princess Theatre on your right. When you arrive at the Clock Tower Roundabout, turn left on Torwood Street.

» Go straight ahead at the lights, passing Torquay Museum on your left.

» The Somerville Hotel is 100 yards past the Museum on your left hand side.
